A move from Napoli for Manchester United's Alejandro Garnacho ultimately depends on the Italian side's budget this January, according to reports.
The Argentine has been subject to plenty of reports linking him with a move away from United, as he has found it difficult to establish himself under new manager Ruben Amorim, often being reduced to cameos from off the bench or rare starts.
Additionally, United are facing risks with the Premier League's Profit and Sustainability Regulations, limiting the amount of money they can spend this month, requiring them to offload some players to generate funds.
While there are a number of players who are poised for moves, including the likes of Casemiro, Christian Eriksen and rather strikingly, Marcus Rashford, Garnacho is surprisingly being named among those names as well, with Napoli the most likely destination for him.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Garnacho is a "dream signing" for Napoli, as they really appreciate him internally and believe he is the perfect fit for them, particularly as they move closer to selling Khvicha Kvaratskhelia to Paris Saint-Germain.
The report adds that Antonio Conte sees Garnacho as his ideal signing, with the Italian manager being "in love" with the winger.
However, Napoli remain realistic, knowing United want a hefty amount of money, not the €35-40 million that they are willing to offer. As a result, the move ultimately depends on Napoli's budget and if they want to invest big money this January.
Romano is not the only one to state Napoli are keen on the 20-year-old, with journalist Duncan Castles stating that Garnacho is one of the candidates to replace Kvaratskhelia at Napoli, together with Liverpool's out-of-favour winger Federico Chiesa.
Multiple reports are adding that Napoli ae considering making a bid for Garnacho, with them pushing to sign him. Should they press ahead for the move, the indications are that the Argentine would be open to the transfer, yet United are holding out for a huge transfer fee.
This season, Garnacho has featured in 30 games, scoring eight goals and providing five assists in the process. Under Amorim, he has featured in all of the encounters, apart from the Manchester Derby in December.
