Ruben Amorim has said that the energy at Manchester United is "different" now, with players becoming more confident as they get used to his style of play.
The United manager was speaking in Monday's press conference ahead of the Premier League encounter against Nottingham Forest, as the Reds return to action after the international break.
The international break has allowed Amorim to work more with his players without any disruptions, particularly with a number of players returning to action after injuries. United went into the break in a good run of form, having progressed to the UEFA Europa League Quarter-Finals and also beaten Leicester City 3-0 in the league.
"I think I can say that I am really confident and the players are more confident," Amorim said.
"The energy is different, but I know that could change with results. We know we have to improve and we are ready for these final two months of this season," he continued.
He added that while he does not know where United will finish in the league, it is important that the Reds win games.
"We still have matches to finish in a different position. We are more confident, so we are looking up. We want to win games and are looking up at the moment," Amorim stated.
Speaking on the returning players, Amorim said that United have had a hectic schedule with less players available, so it is important to have some come back.
He confirmed that Harry Maguire and Leny Yoro are both ready for tomorrow's clash against Forest, while Kobbie Mainoo is almost returning, but is not yet ready. Jonny Evans and Ayden Heaven are recovering, while Luke Shaw is not fully ready to play.
"We had that kind of schedule in the last weeks with less players. It is really important for us to have these players available for us to fight," he affirmed.
"I think it is a very good moment in our season. I know we will have at least three games in the Premier League that are really tough. The Europa League is also really important," he continued.
United travel to the City Ground to face Nottingham Forest on Tuesday, with kick-off at 21:00hrs CET, as Amorim's side look to make it five games unbeaten in the league.
